I truly enjoy learning French and psychology and, as a natural extension, I love sharing them with others. Guiding the process of teaching someone a grammatical structure or tricky concept and watching as they figure out how to put all the pieces together to eventually use it independently is really satisfying for me. The challenge of translating my knowledge into a format that someone else can understand by using mnemonics, metaphors and examples greatly interests me. I've found that often, when a student is struggling to understand a concept, just breaking it down into manageable pieces one- on- one can be immensely useful. Additionally, I enjoy English and have a good understanding of the concepts required by standardized tests such as the SAT, ACT and SAT literature subject test.
